Game Of Thrones: 12 Best Moments From Season 5

5. Arya Goes Kill Bill

Meryn Trant, as Arya reminds us in the season finale, was the very first name on her kill-list, after he appeared to murder her €˜dance instructor€™ Syrio Forel. When it was announced that Trant would join Mace Tyrell in heading to Braavos, it opened up the possibility of Arya crossing a name off her list. Whether she would actually go through with it though was another matter, as it€™d totally go against her Faceless Man training. After it was teased in the penultimate episode, she finally did it in Mother€™s Mercy, and the scene played out brilliantly as Arya first blinded him, and took her time with the eventual murder. It was bloody, brutal, and it was fantastic to see Arya as a vengeful killing machine. It may not have worked out too well for her afterwards, but it was nevertheless a moment she deserved to have, and one that played out superbly.
