2. Ramsay Bolton
In Season 3, Ramsay did the impossible: He made audiences pity Theon Greyjoy. After betraying the Starks, Theon was on his way to becoming one of the show's most detestable characters, but after Ramsay tortured and castrated him, fans' hatred towards Theon became pity towards Theon and hatred towards Ramsay. That hatred only grew as Ramsay tortured more and more people, including his eventual wife Sansa.
Season 6's Battle of the Bastards finally ended Ramsay's reign of terror. After Jon's forces retook Winterfell, Jon was ready to beat Ramsay to death, especially after seeing him kill Rickon. However, when he sees Sansa, he backs off, realizing that she deserves to kill Ramsay more than anyone.
Sansa then proceeds to feed Ramsay to his own dogs, who he hadn't fed in seven days. He proved to be a delicious meal for the beasts, as audiences all around the world clapped and cheered as they dug into him.
