8. Littlefinger (Aiden Gillan)
Some of you may know King's Landing's slippery fish as the smarmy, inept CIA Agent at the start of the Dark Knight Rises. That's right, Littlefinger was the guy that let Bane go and run reckless in Gotham. Nice one Baelish. Can you do anything right? D*ck. Unfortunately, Gillen had a very minimal appearance in The Dark Knight Rises, serving up about as much screen-time as William Fichtner in the second installment of Chris Nolan's epic trilogy. Still, his presence is undeniably there and serves as a little talking point for all those who will have read this article and gone on to watch TDKR at some point in the future. You can't beat a good 'little talking point' can you? Aside from that, Aidan Gillen's career has oscillated wildly from utter turd - ITV's 'Identity' - to television masterclass The Wire (playing Tommy Carcetti) but he's now hitting the big-time off the back of his substantial role in Game Of Thrones. Gillen has several films in post-production, gracing our screens this year.
