Game Of Thrones: 14 Things You Learn Rewatching Season 3

6. Gendry And Arya Must Reunite

Arya and Gendry's relationship builds wonderfully over the course of Seasons 2 and 3, and is particularly strengthened this year during the intimate moment where he tells her she'd be "My Lady." After just a few episodes, however, it's cruelly ripped away in the way only Game of Thrones can do.

Gendry is taken by Melisandre, with a devastated Arya watching on helpless to stop her. Arya's suffered a lot of loss already, and will suffer more in the future (starting with the Red Wedding), but this one really stings because of how much time has been devoted to their relationship. She was parted from her family early on, and in turn Gendry then became her new family.

Heading into Season 8, a lot has been made of the likely Jon/Arya relationship, which is going to be great to see. But just as much, we need to get a poignant reunion moment between these two as well.
