With Jon's legitimate claim to the Iron Throne superseding Dany's, some are suggesting that there is going to be friction between the new incestuous lovers, but it feels far more likely that the two would choose the romantic option of reigning together.

Or at least, reigning together until it turns out that one of them must die to finally end the Long Night.

In the prophecy concerning Jon being Azor Ahai, it is assumed that he will be the one to kill the Night King and restore peace to the Seven Kingdoms. But he may yet need the legendary sword Ligthbringer - or a replacement for it made in the same way, which would mean he'd have to plunge it into his beloved's breast to awaken its full magical capabilities.

It may well be that Dany actually sacrifices herself, transforming the sword, rather than Jon being forced to kill her himself. And her sacrifice could be the symbolic tempering in blood that fulfils the Azor Ahai prophecy.
