Family is a very strong theme throughout Game of Thrones, and there were constantly theories that certain characters were either related, or not who they claimed to be. By the time it was eventually revealed, just about everyone knew that Jon Snow wasn't really Jon Snow, but this raised more questions than it answered.

The prophecy told of a three headed dragon, matching the creature on the Targaryen sigil. With Daenerys flying Drogon, and Jon taking Rhaegal, this left one riderless dragon, and one head of the dragon unaccounted for.

Thoughts turned to who this potential mysterious Targaryen could be, with one theory suggesting that it would be none other than Tyrion. When Tywin Lannister served as Hand of the King to Aerys II, it was well documented that the Mad King enjoyed the company of Tywin's wife, Joanna.

It was entirely plausible that it was Aerys that fathered the child that killed his mother in labour, making Tyrion Daenerys' half-sister, and the third head of the dragon. This would have certainly given deeper meaning to Tywin's hatred for Tyrion, and made us look entirely differently at the former stating that the latter was no son of his.

Everyone wanted justice for Tyrion, for how he had been treated by his family all his life, but unfortunately he was, is, and always will be a Lannister.
