Game Of Thrones: 20 Awesome Characters Who Were TOTALLY Screwed Over

This great character, excellently played by Natalie Tena (AKA Tonks from Harry Potter), was sorely missed when she and Rickon left to go into hiding at the end of season three. Understandably, everyone was excited to see her finally return in season six, but unfortunately she only returned briefly before being killed off.

She attempted to kill Ramsay Bolton in that season's fourth episode but he just killed her with his knife; what was the point of this exactly?

If it was intended to show how awful Ramsay was, it couldn't have been less necessary. Just two episodes earlier, we'd seen him feed his newborn baby brother to his hounds and if this death scene was intended to give viewers a good shock, then this was a terrible example of shock for shock's sake.

Surprises should actually have a point, or else they feel incredibly lazy and annoying. This death was a great example of that.

What Should've Happened: She should've been an active agent against Ramsay, working as a spy in Winterfell, or something like that. Her dying eventually was probably right, but she should've died for the Starks and for Winterfell as part of what made her character special was her devotion to them despite her origins as a Wildling.
