Game Of Thrones: 20 Awesome Characters Who Were TOTALLY Screwed Over

Benjen Stark's disappearance was one of the show's longest-running and most interesting mysteries and as such, it was lovely to see him reappear in season six. In the two episodes of season six that he appeared in he was absolutely fine. It was his conclusion in season seven that was the problem.

He only returned once more and that was as a deux ex machina in 'Beyond the Wall', the spectacular albeit plot hole-ridden sixth episode of season seven. He conveniently came out of nowhere, saved Jon from the White Walkers and then died without any real fanfare.

What Should've Happened:

He should've had a proper reunion with Jon and the Starks and played a part of some sort in the final battle against the Army of the Dead. After all, he'd had to spend all those years north of the Wall in an un-dead state, so he deserved to go out on a more impactful, heroic note.
