Game Of Thrones: 20 Awesome Characters Who Were TOTALLY Screwed Over

17. Grey Worm

Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) is not a character anyone expected to survive to the end; it was generally assumed he'd die in battle at some point. That would've been a far more fitting end to his story.

Grey Worm was a good, underrated character, all things considered, and he deserved better than suffering the same fate as his leader, Daenerys: he abruptly became a villain without nearly enough build-up.

Obviously, losing Missandei, his love interest, was traumatic for him but this still shouldn't have changed his personality quite so radically and his viscous slaughtering during the Battle of King's Lading didn't ring true.

At the end, after Daenerys' death, he and the remaining Unsullied departed to the Isle of Naath, which was Missandei's homeland; unfortunately, this didn't work either. What exactly would an army of former slave soldiers do on that island?

What Should've Happened: He should've died a noble death in either the Battle of Winterfell or the Battle of King's Landing. Alternatively, had he survived, he could've become a Kingsguard (or Queensguard).
