Game Of Thrones: 20 Awesome Characters Who Were TOTALLY Screwed Over
16. Jaqen H'ghar
In season two, this guy was incredibly intriguing. Well, he's a mysterious, bad-ass assassin with the ability to change faces so, of course viewers were interested to eventually see more of him. Too bad he ended up being at the centre of, aside from the Dorne story, probably the worst story-line in the show's history.
Arya training with the faceless men was an atrociously written and truly tedious affair that felt largely irrelevant to the rest of the show's story-lines. Throughout all of this, Jaqen wasn't nearly as bad as that bizarre Waif character and actor Tom Wlaschiha did a solid enough job with him, but at the end of the day, all he did was say annoyingly cryptic things about becoming no-one.
Season five was the worst season of the show before the final season and a big part of that was due to this entire story-line. This plot-line also continued in season six and dragged down that mostly fantastic season too. It was a sad development for a once-interesting character.
What Should've Happened: This one's easy. The entire Braavos story-line from season five and season six needed to be reworked from the ground up.
