Game Of Thrones: 25 Easter Eggs, In-Jokes And References You Need To See

11. Jon Comes Back

Season 5 ended with the major shock (or not, if you€™d read the books), of Jon Snow€™s death at the hands of his fellow Night€™s Watch brothers (f**k Olly). Almost as soon as it happened, once your brain had actually managed to process the sequence and gotten beyond the €˜WTF?!€™ stage, talk turned to just how he€™d be coming back. Because although Game of Thrones has a reputation for killing off anyone at anytime, there€™s almost no way Jon is staying dead. He€™s just too important to the ultimate endgame, or at least we€™ve been led to believe that€™s the case. Sam does his best to ease our fears before we even knew we had them, as in an earlier season 5 episode he says of Jon: €œHe always comes back.€ Say it again, Sam.
