24. Who's In It

All of the principal cast members you'd expect are returning for Game of Thrones Season 8, led by the likes of Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Of the more surprising returnees are Tobias Menzies, who plays Edmure Tully, and Lino Facioli, who plays Robin Arryn. It's unclear in what capacity they'll be involved, but both are reported to be appearing. Carice van Houten's Melisandre is also back, despite her character departing Westeros in Season 7.

There aren't a great deal of newcomers now we're in the endgame, but one notable addition to the cast is Marc Rissmann (Into The Badlands), who'll be playing Harry Strickland, leader of sellsword army The Golden Company. In the books, he's described as balding and portly, but as you can see from the image of Rissmann above, they've clearly went in a different direction for the show.
