Game Of Thrones: 3 Reasons Why Season 4 Might Be The Best Yet (And 3 Reasons Why It Might Falter)

Gameofthrones The main strength of Game Of Thrones (and A Song Of Ice And Fire, for matter) is its characters, twenty eight of whom were part of the 'main cast' in season three. This number will presumably fall to twenty five for season four given the deaths of Robb Stark, his mother Catelyn and his wife Talisa at the Red Wedding, though recurring characters such as Barristan Selmy, Loras Tyrell and Brienne Of Tarth (why she isn't in the main cast already is a mystery in the first place) may be promoted to fill the void. Each of these characters will have their own arc and interactions, with some having a greater part to play in proceedings than others. The critic's favourite Tyrion Lannister will also has a large part to play after his fairly low-key presence in season three, and will be heavily involved in two of the season's most shocking scenes. A further preview of proceedings can be read at the Game of Thrones wiki, but now let us look at three things that could hinder the quality of the upcoming fourth season, no matter how slightly...
