Game Of Thrones: 5 Best Moments From First Of His Name
4. Bran Hodors Out On Locke
We return to Crasters Keep as the whole subplot dealing with the mutineers comes to a head. Bran, Hodor, and the Reeds are still their captives. Just as Karl is about to sexually assault Meera, Jon leads his band of brothers in a surprise attack. During all this commotion, Locke sneaks away to secure Bran and presumably take him to the Dreadfort. To save himself, Bran wargs into Hodor, breaks out of his chains, and uses Hodors brute strength to snap Lockes neck like a twig. As another show-only addition, this scene is notable as being the first time Bran uses his warging ability to fully control Hodor and kill someone. Neither one of them has actually killed a man before, so this is a significant moment. More than anything though, this scene is just plain awesome. Its great to see Hodor actually get in on the action and use his strength, even if it is technically Bran doing it. Plus, it was such a brutal kill, and a brutal end to one of the most charismatic villains on the show.
