What does it mean to be no one? Game of Thrones intrigued fans with this question, but they never truly answered it.

While Arya's time at the House of Black and White was compelling, the Faceless Men never felt like a fully fleshed out organization. There is a ton of storytelling potential for this group, and a spin-off would be the perfect chance to capitalize on that potential.

Game of Thrones intentionally kept the Faceless Men covered in a shroud of mystery, and fans remained puzzled by some lingering questions surrounding the group. How exactly do they change their faces? Who built the House of Black and White? How did their dedication to the Many-Faced God originate?

The many questions surrounding the Faceless Men has resulted in countless fan theories. The organization's fondness of death (the refer to it as a gift) has lead some fans to believe the group wants to spread death throughout the world. But how could they possibly kill everyone in the world? Easily, if you believe the theory that they support the White Walkers. The connection is clear; the Faceless Men worship death and the White Walkers control the dead. If there is a connection between the two groups, this spin-off would be the best place to reveal it.

Another theory regarding the assassins examines their possible relationship to the dragons. Though the show downplays these notions, there is quite a bit of information in the books that supports the idea that the Faceless Men are trying to rid the world of dragons. Perhaps this spin-off can explain the Faceless Men's thoughts on dragons.

Yet explaining the Faceless Men's mysterious nature is merely the tip of the iceberg. The true potential of a Faceless Men series is the opportunity to have an assassin without an identity as its lead.

A show in which the lead character is constantly changing his identity and traveling the world assassinating people would be exhilarating. The concept is riveting and full of potential, and it would also provide a perfect opportunity to clear up the vagueness of the Faceless Men that Game of Thrones left us with.
