Game Of Thrones: 5 Ups And 5 Downs From Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken
A GoT rape scene, it must be May...
Game of Thrones is known for being a show with pretty slow build-up, that leads to an extremely epic pay-off. Even then, to say that the build-up of the show is slow isnt really a criticism; its an area where the show excels. The best moments are found in the many varied character pairings, where conversations can say nothing and everything all at once, and something else is always waiting to happen that will demand your attention. The show isnt perfect, although its about as close to it as any show can be these days. A large part of that is because the world it inhabits is far from perfect. Its a twisted place, full of murky morals and, while there may be a House of Black and White, most of the characters aren't so clear cut. The showrunners arent able to please everyone, and occasionally will cause a fair bit of criticism and outrage with choices they make. One such incident occurred in this weeks episode, Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken, which also featured all of the classic scheming and character interaction we love the show for, as well as a rare failure to deliver on action, and more. It was an episode full of ups and downs, either for the audience or the characters we were watching, so heres a look at five of each.
