Game Of Thrones: 5 Ups And 5 Downs From Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

5. The Trial - Down

The last trial in Westeros (that wasn€™t by combat) featured a showstopper of a speech from Tyrion Lannister, so the next one wasn€™t really going to live up to it. It€™s really more of a small hearing, as we see first Loras, then Margaery, then finally Loras€™ squire/lover give evidence to the High Sparrow regarding his sexuality. Cersei€™s faux protestations, and Lady Olenna€™s real ones, fall on deaf ears, as it is decided Loras will be tried for his €˜crimes€™, and Margaery is also arrested for knowing and lying about them. All in all, it€™s a bad week for the Tyrells, while King Tommen just sat there speechless as his wife and queen pleaded with him to stop the Faith Militant. Cersei, meanwhile, got what she thinks she wanted, but may ultimately come to regret it.
