Game Of Thrones: The Winners & Losers In 'The Lion And The Rose'

3. Prince Tommen

If you were watching the royal wedding ceremony, wondering: "Who is that baby-face kid that we've never seen before?", he is a recast Prince Tommen, Joffrey's younger brother and heir. Like Joffrey and their sister, Mrycella, Tommen is the illegitimate child of Jaime Lannister. The last time we saw Tommen was when Cersei was about to poison him at the end of the Battle of the Blackwater, before a victorious Tywin burst into the throne room. Tommen has since been recast, and will now be played by Dean-Charles Chapman, who confusingly has already appeared on the show as Martyn Lannister (one of the young hostages murdered in Robb's care by the Karstark's) Presumably, the recasting was a decision based on the actor's experience, as Tommen will become much more involved as a character now that Joffrey is dead. With his older brother out of the way, Tommen now gets to be king, so that's a big win for him, but there are also allusions to Joffrey bullying Tommen, so he won't have to put up with that anymore. On top of that, Tommen gets to marry the smoking hot, older babe in his brother's place!
