Game Of Thrones: The Winners & Losers In 'The Lion And The Rose'

4. Theon/Reek

Theon's transformation from brash prince to pitiful slave creature is now complete. Under the thumb of the wickedly cruel Ramsay Snow, Theon has been tortured and humiliated into obedient submission. He is now Ramsay's pet human: Reek. The character we once knew as Theon is no more (not that he didn't half deserve it). You've got to feel pity for Reek though. Despite his actions in the past, could you really justify anyone suffering the kind of torment that Ramsay unleashes on his victims? Joffrey maybe, but that is an exceptional case. Ramsay's control over Reek is so overwhelming, so total, that he can invoke the last vestige of Theon's identity (his guilt about Robb Stark) whilst offering his open throat to a razor, and know that Reek will not strike. If you look up 'loser' in the dictionary, there's a picture of Reek's ugly mug.
