Game Of Thrones: 9 Awful Moments That Were Way Worse In The Books
5. The Red Wedding
Being betrothed in medieval land is a pretty huge deal and the fact that they made Robb Stark just abandon his to one of Walder Frey's daughters was hardly going to go down easily with the grumpy Frey, which obviously resulted in The Red Wedding. While the whole scenario was played out arguably worse in the show, with Talisa getting stabbed right in her pregnant belly, the show left out one horrible part that had fans wondering for ages what's going to happen. Do you remember that Arya made her way to the wedding? When the Hound knocked her out on the show, we knew he wasn't going to kill her, but book fans had to read for ages before they could find another Arya chapter. What happened to Arya? George R.R. Martin was smart (and sneaky) in the way he left out Arya chapters and kept fans wondering what had happened to one of their favourite characters.
