5. The Red Wedding

Being betrothed in medieval land is a pretty huge deal and the fact that they made Robb Stark just abandon his to one of Walder Frey's daughters was hardly going to go down easily with the grumpy Frey, which obviously resulted in The Red Wedding. While the whole scenario was played out arguably worse in the show, with Talisa getting stabbed right in her pregnant belly, the show left out one horrible part that had fans wondering for ages what's going to happen.
