Game Of Thrones: 9 Early Predictions For Season 7
1. Bran Brings The Wall Down
Before parting ways, Benjen/Coldhands had some knowledge of the Wall to share with Bran: it's not just the Night's Watch protecting it, nor is it merely a wall of ice; there are ancient spells preventing the White Walkers from passing through.
In other words, he basically turned to the camera and shouted: "THE WALL IS COMING DOWN. GET READY!"
Bran needs to head down past the Wall and into civilisation, in order to share his knowledge and warn of the coming threat - something Jon Snow is also going to be attempting in the North, and the two will likely be reunited.
Doing so, however, means passing through the Wall, and there's a big problem with that. Bran is carrying the mark of the Night King, which allowed him to discover, enter, and destroy the Three-Eyed Raven's cave. Since the Wall was created by the First Men and the Children of the Forest, it's going to be the same (or similar) spells protecting it. That means when Bran heads home, he's giving the White Walkers a direct map to Westeros, and opening things up for the Night King to bring the Wall crashing down, which is sure to be an incredible sight worthy of the Season 7 finale, getting us truly ready for the endgame of Season 8.
