Tommen was far nicer and easier to root for than his snivelling older brother, Joffrey, and honestly, if he hadn't been so messed up by his mother, the High Sparrow and the tumbling world around him, he may have even made a good king in time.
Unfortunately, Tommen always felt like the kind of character that was around to add layers to those around him, rather than being his own man.
His death was tragic, his cat adorable, and despite being a Lannister by blood, he was endearing and didn't deserve what came to him.
