To say that Gilly went through a lot on the show would be an understatement. The daughter and wife of the vile wildling Craster, Gilly met Samwell Tarly and saw an opportunity to break free from the terrors of her life.
Her relationship with Sam was undeniably sweet and she proved to be one of the show's most innocent characters.
Loyal, intelligent and brave, she was easy to root for and great to watch, even if she often ended up looking like underused second fiddle to Sam in the later seasons.
