9. Jon Snow

I realise that a good few female Thrones fans would probably scold me for even mentioning Kit Harringtons Jon Snow on a bad role list, but come on behind those wavy locks, there wasnt much to Jon. Hes all about his duty, but he quite likes getting it on with his wildling girlfriend. Its easy enough. The problem with him was that he was just too grim and stony-faced. He always looks like someone told him his dog died, and although hes supposed to be serious theres such a thing as a bit too much. After all, you can get sick of chocolate ice cream if you have too much of it. Jons saving grace was that he had good scenes with Ygritte, with Rose Leslie giving his scenes a much-needed jolt. But frankly, Ygritte was so compelling as a character she could have lit up a room by herself, and most of the credit for the excellent break-up scene can be laid at her door. When Jon wasnt with her, the whole thing sort of fell down his continuous arguments with Orell dragged slightly and he seemed to look confused all the time. I dont hold out much hope that hes going to be livening up Castle Black any time soon.
