Game Of Thrones Season 5: Ranking All Episodes Worst To Best

7. Episode 4 - Sons Of The Harpy

It speaks volumes that this episode is fairly low down in the pecking order, because it did offer some great scenes. Loras' arrest followed by the first slip of the mask from Margaery was a key moment in her fall from grace, and Tommen's weaknesses were crucially exposed, while Melisandre stripped down (surprise, surprise) to persuade Jon Snow to go with Stannis to Winterfell. Baelish spilt from Sansa, Jaime and Bronn dropped into Dorne, and Jorah made his way to Meereen with Tyrion as his captive, but it was the final scene with Barristan Selmy and Grey Worm that plucked at the heartstrings. It was an 'okay' episode with a secondary character death at the end, and while it was shocking, tragic end for Selmy, fans felt like the grand plan wasn't being carried far enough forward considering the season was nearing halfway. Best Moment: If you were wondering what the star moment from this episode was, look no further than Barristan being a boss. His grand finale was sad, but it was a heroic death as he rolled back the years to massacre their attackers. Rest in peace, Selmy. Rest in peace.
