Game Of Thrones Season 5: Ranking All Episodes Worst To Best
8. Episode 5 - Kill The Boy
This was the mid-season episode, and for many, the show was merely cantering along when it could have been doing more. Sansa receives the message about lighting the candle with some scenes that harked back to the good old days when Winterfell was a Stark-run city. Daenerys feeding her caged dragons with a nobleman was impressive, while Stannis departed from Castle Black on his kamikaze mission to Winterfell. Jon's conversations with the excellent Tormund were edgy, tense, and great to watch, while Aemon's "kill the boy, let the man be born" speech to Jon provides a glimmer of hope for a revival in Season 6. Best Moment: Game of Thrones dipped into horror, with the Stone Men providing an eerie threat, with fans first spotting them at different times in Valyria. Learning more about those far off isles was welcome, and the scene was gripping.
