6. Sansa Stark
Sansa Stark is a great character. I was never totally sold on her throughout the first few seasons, but ever since she started 'playing the game', the eldest Stark daughter has massively developed as a strong-willed woman, despite the awful situations she's constantly finding herself in, through no fault of her own.
You don't need me to list every moment of horror she's endured in her young life, but the scenarios did just keep on growing darker. Now we're waiting for Season 6, and Sansa's storyline hangs in the balance. If she's recaptured and handed even more misery, her storyline will grow stale, but if Sansa is given a long enough respite to develop, she could use her name to become a genuine game-changer. Killing Sansa in Season 6 wouldn't be a worthy pay-off for the trauma she's endured so far.
