Bran Stark can't take a season-long holiday and die during his comeback year. We've waited eagerly to see how his arc would impact the world events currently triggering across the map, with his trundling journey beyond the Wall being somewhat jarring compared to other slick, intertwining storylines.

The young Stark narrated the initial Season 6 teaser trailer, hinting that big things are in store for Bran. There have been suggestions that he could be used as a device to bring more flashbacks to our screens, with visions of the past holding relevance for events in the future. He could be the gateway towards huge scenes such as The Tower Of Joy, and his incredible warg powers have yet to be fully explored. Bran has so much potential, and ending him now would be a ridiculous move.
