Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'Oathbreaker'
2. And Now His Watch Has Ended
If you're a follower of the sub-Reddit F**k Olly then this was a joyous occasion, as we finally got to see him and the other mutineers pay for killing Jon Snow.
The show had to do something with them, and this was really a necessary moment. After all, what else could they do to pay for their crime? Take the Black?
Alliser Thorne was the standout of the mutineers once again, remaining true to his very last, and also never painted as an outright villain - yes, what he did to Jon was shocking, but there's still some degree of truth behind what he's saying.
The mic drop moment comes when Jon takes off his cloak, gives it to Dolorous Edd (big 'up' for him here as well!), and then walks off, saying "my watch has ended."
As theorised for the last nine months (or few years for book readers), Jon's death and resurrection is serving as a loophole for him to leave the Night's Watch, and damn he did it in style. Now there's going to be the fun of watching what he does next. Because yes, they've brought him back, but now they need to start justifying it.
