Every time David Benioff and D.B. Weiss make a move, they're not just changing the way Game of Thrones looks, they're also changing the way the fanbase feels. We're living in the Golden Age of boxset television, and Thrones could well be the greatest of them all - that brings great pressure to get it right, and one wrong move, could spark a cyber war. Killing Jon Snow was the most unthinkable option at the end of Season 5, but Benioff and Weiss deserve credit for not shying away from George R.R.
