By the end of last season, Cersei had nearly everything taken from her by the High Sparrow. Following her Walk of Atonement, she was left with no power and few allies. She did however have Qyburn's Frankenstein creation that was once The Mountain. This unstoppable force served as a super effective bodyguard and very reliable intimidation tool. Fans were just waiting for him to be unleashed on some poor soul.

It only makes sense that the Sparrows would cross paths with this monster sooner or later. Despite their righteous claims, they've gained too much power and now see themselves as the ones who are truly in charge. Cersei seemed pleased to remind them that they don't have control over everyone. "I choose violence", has already become an iconic quote.

The Mountain's display of unbelievable strength was both exciting and terrifying. He hardly acknowledged the blow from the Sparrow and removed the man's head with almost comical ease. It'll be interesting to see who crosses paths with him in the future and if there's anyone out there that stands a chance against him.
