5. Ramsay Feeds His Hounds

Just as soon as Joffrey bit the dust, a new psychopath stepped up to take the mantel of 'most despicable villain'. Ramsay Bolton has been responsible for so many atrocities in the show; the torture and mutilation of Theon, sacking Winterfell, the murder of Osha and Rickon and the rape of Sansa. Needless to say, plenty of people were eager for this moment.

Ramsay's evil deeds were starting to get a little cartoonish so it did seem like the right time to say goodbye. And what a goodbye it was!

Poetic justice at it's finest, not only because it was Sansa who sentenced him to death, but because it was his own hounds that finally did him in. The fact he's seen what these dogs can do to his many victims means he knew what he was in for. He tried to put on a brave face but there was no hiding that fear, nor the screams that followed. It was a satisfying, brutal end for the show's most hated character. And yet some would say he still got off too easy.
