Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Most Disappointing Characters

Lord Tarly himself was hyped long before the season began. James Faulkner was cast as Sam's cold father and fans were immediately excited about the prospect of the pair facing each other.

Faulkner absolutely nailed the character; his performance nor Randall himself are problematic. However, there simply wasn't enough of Randyll considering it was such a potentially huge reunion.

Sam was allowed to waltz away without opposition, and Randyll simply vanished from the screen. He will surely return, but considering it was a lesser storyline to begin with, more Randyll could've been what it needed.
