Game Of Thrones Season 6: 8 Things You Might've Missed In 'Home'

6. The Balon Murder Mystery Is Cleared Up

Game of Thrones Balon Euron Greyjoy Pyke bridge Gendry

In the books, the events of Balon's death are pretty similar, in that he dies falling from a bridge during a storm.

The difference is that it plays out off-screen, or off-page rather, so we never find out the exact details about what happened to him. The popular fan theory, though, is that Euron was responsible, either pushing him off himself or hiring a Faceless Man to do it for him.

Now, thanks to this episode, we've got an answer: Euron does kill him. Admittedly the shows and the books are very different at this point, but I think it's still fair to take this as confirmation of the Euron theory.
