9. "Lots" Of Main Characters Die...

This season has been easily the most trigger-happy of all so far: more than 20 characters - major and key supporting - have been killed off, as well as thousands in battle (including a giant). And it's not going to stop there either.

Apparently, the finale won't cement the tenuous calm at the end of The Battle Of The Bastards, but will instead kill of the most main characters yet. At a guess, you'd have to think the High Sparrow, Loras, Lancel and Melisandre are all very good candidates to go.

Evidence?

That pesky deleted Reddit thread came with the warning that "yes, lots of main characters die" and "mainly in the finale". Given the poster's track record, that's a good enough hint for me.
