Yes, die you horrible young bastard! Season 6 made a few efforts to remind us just how evil and cruel and downright deplorable Ramsay Bolton is, but it needn't have bothered; no one was forgetting anytime soon. The memories of the tortures he inflicted upon Theon and Sansa are etched into the memories of viewers; his death a necessity from midway through last season.

When it finally arrived, it was every bit as sweet as we could've hoped for. After being beaten to a bloody pulp by Jon (itself a disturbingly wonderful moment), it was (rightfully) left to Sansa to strike the final blow, and the way she did it was very fitting. She was already a player of the game at this stage, but this cemented her position as someone who could be, when the time called for it, the ruthless Lady Stark.

Ramsay robbed her of something she can never get back, so in the world of Westeros the most fitting thing she could do was return the favour, and having his hounds devour him was a delightfully brutal turn of events, all accompanied by her little smirk at the end. After years of inflicting pain and suffering on others, Ramsay had to endure a lot of his own.
