7. Melisandre

Melisandre's storyline is very much up in the air. I still can't work out how powerful she actually is, but you can expect her to weave some magic in 'raising the dead' during Season 6... There is clearly something special about her following the 'Shadow Baby assassin', but her visions massively failed her with Stannis as she fled back to the Wall, visibly shaken. It was the first time we have seen Melisandre feeling something close to 'doubt', so it'll be fascinating to see how she proceeds. Can she make a full recovery, or will her powers fail her this time around? Chances of Dying: 6/10
