Game Of Thrones Season 7: 10 Things You Can Expect To Happen

6. An Increased Focus On Big Action Sequences

Game of Thrones has long been known for - among many other things - its ability to put on epic action sequences that are unrivalled on television, and indeed beat a lot of competition on the big screen.

Normally, though, we get only a couple of major action sequences a year, but that looks like changing in Season 7. With fewer episodes but a bigger budget, things are really going to get crazy.

We've already had teases of a few big sequences: a battle at sea involving the Greyjoys; the Lannisters vs the Unsullied at Casterly Rock; and the Lannisters vs the Dothraki, which looks like involving the ridiculously huge Drogon too.

Since we've had glimpses of all of these, that means there's still a lot we haven't seen, assuming these come in the first half of the season. Add in a presumably bigger battle to be fought between Dany and the Lannisters, at least one involving Jon Snow, plus the arrival of the White Walkers, and this is going to be action-packed on a level unlike any other season of the show.
