Game Of Thrones Season 7: 11 Crucial Things That Must Happen
8. Sansa Rejects Littlefinger
Sansa Stark has a big choice to make. Does she side with Littlefinger, which will throw her into conflict with half-brother Jon, but also has the potential to (at the very least) raise her to the position of Lady of Winterfell and Queen in the North, with designs on power beyond that?
Or does she choose Jon, which means perhaps casting aside some of her larger political ambitions, allowing someone she doesn't think fully deserving to rule her homeland, but also means not betraying her family?
Sansa is one of the few characters all but guaranteed to make it through to the end of the show, and siding with Littlefinger isn't the way to get there. It'd also put a 'good' character at odds with a main hero, at a time when its building towards convergence and a final good vs bad battle. Something, on a related note, that Littlefinger doesn't really have a part in, which means he'll probably be killed this year. It makes more sense for Sansa to choose Jon, and that's what we should see - coupled with Littlefinger's death because of it.
