Game Of Thrones Season 7: 13 Biggest Rumours You Need To Know
3. A Meeting Of Ice And Fire
Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are Game of Thrones' two biggest characters. They're the two main protagonists, the physical embodiment of ice and fire, and the two most likely to save the day in the final battle. And yet, through six seasons, their paths have never crossed. Both have existed outside of Westeros politics - Jon at the Wall, Dany across the Narrow Sea, but are now set to be majorly entwined in it. King in the North and the potential Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
Rumours first emerged when Kit Harington was in Spain, the same location Emilia Clarke was filming (and definitely not the setting for Winterfell or the North). Since then a few more images have leaked out, showing what does appear to be the long-awaited meeting for the pair. Although not 100% confirmed, it's believed at this stage the setting for the meeting will be Dragonstone. As the place of Daenerys' birth, it's quite fitting that she'd head there (it's also a solid fortress and, with the Baratheons all dead (save for Gendry) doesn't have anyone ruling it.
While it seems certain now then that the pair will meet in Season 7, the bigger questions remain. Will Jon convince her of the White Walkers? Will they find out that they're related? Will Jon support her claim to the Iron Throne? In that regard, we know nothing.
