5. I Shall Name Him Aegon (Again)

The Targaryens have some interesting names and seemingly infinite possibilities for new ones. As long as you can combine a few vowels and make something that sounds a little like you'd call your pet dragon, you've got a viable Targaryen name.

That makes it all the more confusing that both of Rhaegar Targaryen's sons were called Aegon. That just shows a stunning lack of imagination, and was a tiny bit inconsiderate, given that the first Aegon had just had his head smashed in by The Mountain. That's almost like trying to directly replacing him, which might not have gone down well with Rhaegar had he not have already been killed.
