2. Jon's Case For Eastwatch

Finally, we might get to see Tormund's lovely hairy face again.

The Wildling MVP is up at Eastwatch-By-The-Sea currently preparing to offer whatever defence his lot can manage against White Walkers without any dragonglass or Valyrian steel. But you know full well that he's relishing that task with the gusto of a man bred for intolerably poor battle odds.

It would appear he will be flexing those fighting muscles again soon, as the trailer (and the episode title) suggest that Eastwatch will be the site for Hardhome II and a huge face-off between man and dead man. And Jon knows as much, taking to Dany's war-room (at almost the exact spot Stannis and Melisandre made a smoke baby, actually) to explain the strategic value of the castle and why it can't fall to the Night King.

Book-makers wouldn't even give you odds on Dany's response being some variation of "bend the knee".

But Jon has a trump card, now. He's back in conversation with Bran, somehow, who turns up doing his whole milk-eyes shtick once more...

Presumably, he still hasn't told Jon that he's actually a Targaryen, which would be really key information for Snow, given that he's trying to get Dany on his side. Clearly the Raven doesn't think it's as important as we all do.
