Game Of Thrones Season 7 Premiere: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Dragonstone'

6. Are We Heading For A Lannister Reunion?

After blowing up the Sept and taking the Iron Throne, the Lannisters are very much back on top in King's Landing, with no High Sparrow to worry about. The big threat now comes from Daenerys Targaryen, who just so happens to have Cersei and Jaime's brother as her Hand.

It marks the first time since the end of Season 4 that all the Lannisters have been in Westeros, a fact that the show has Cersei go to great lengths to point out, calling herself and Jaime the last Lannisters alive who count.

You have to think, then, that the trio are going to be reunited at some point. They're going to be engaged in battle against each other, even if neither Tyrion nor Cersei will be out there on the battlefield like Jaime is. That means a meeting feels it has to happen this year, with big question marks over what will happen.

Jaime previously swore to kill Tyrion, and Cersei herself would likely demand it. He, meanwhile, would probably take the chance to murder his sister, although left on friendlier terms with his brother (or so he thinks). Seeing them all back together again will be a big moment, and if nothing else then it should at least mean a battle of wits between Cersei and Tyrion, giving Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage plenty of Emmy-worthy material to sink their teeth into.
