Game Of Thrones Season 7 Premiere: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Dragonstone'

5. Will Jorah Be Cured?

One great small moment in the premiere was the jump scare used to introduce Jorah. Not only did it give viewers a bit of a fright, but it also served as a great way of updating us on where the character is and his current plight, while not needing to deviate away from the other stories too much.

Put simply, things don't look good for him. He's obviously been quarantined off, although it's a bit of a worry he can reach his greyscaled arm so far out of the door, and it looks more severe than last time we saw him.

So will Jorah go full Stone Man, or is he remarkably going to be saved? If there is a chance of a cure, then he's in the right place. Jim Broadbent's Ebrose, whom we meet for the first time here, became an Archmaester because of his knowledge in healing, and that would mean he could have a big part to play in both Sam and Jorah's storylines.

Dying of greyscale doesn't seem like a fitting end for Jorah Mormont, so it is feasible a cure will be found - at least enough to stop the spread, but that arm's probably marked for good - and yet either way, it's likely he'll die this season.
