Game Of Thrones Season 7: Ranking The Probability Of 13 Major Character Deaths In 'Beyond The Wall'
2. Beric Dondarrion

The Case For
That hero shot above. Beric Dondarrion hasn't been in the thick of the action for years, and then he gets that image for Season 7? It pretty much screams that he's going to die. Which, to be fair, is kinda his thing. This time, though, he might not come back. Beric is one of the few people who really understands the threat of the White Walkers, and his speech to Jon in the trailer about death is another sign of his own impending demise - it's the sort of sage advice one gives before departing. Again, Beric is someone whose death makes some impact - he's a cool, recognisable character - but is easy to do in terms of the bigger picture. He's got to stay dead one of these days, surely.
The Case Against
Dying might be Beric's thing, but so is coming back to life. No one has been able to keep him down yet, and a flaming sword is a big bonus in a fight against wights. Plus, with Thoros likely to die, it could be interesting to see Beric face up to life without the man who brings him back from the dead.
