Game Of Thrones Season 8: 12 Details You Might've Missed In 'The Last Of The Starks'

3. Euron: From Dragonbinder To Dragonslayer

Another moment that could almost feel like a nod to the books - or, perhaps, highlights just how different an approach they are taking - is having Euron bring down a dragon.

In A Feast for Crows, Euron turns up at the Kingsmoot with a horn known as dragonbinder, which is supposed to bind any dragon who hears the horn to its master (the downside being the person who blows the horn will die).

In A Dance With Dragons, Euron sends his brother Victarion and the horn to Meereen, hoping to win the allegiance of Daenerys Targaryen. With Euron setup to become a much bigger deal than he is on the show, there is a chance the books will also see him take a dragon from Daenerys, albeit in a much more magical way.
