Game of Thrones has always tinkered with its opening credits, depending on which locations are in any given episode and who holds power at them, but Season 8 has made the biggest change yet. With everything condensed, the first episode revealed a new title sequence that simply visited Last Hearth, Winterfell, and King's Landing.

It's much the same this week, despite Last Hearth and King's Landing not being in the episode, but with some more subtle changes. Last week, the ice tiles stopped when they got to Last Hearth - now, after the dead have been there, it's iced over and the path of the White Walkers continues.

Winterfell, too, is markedly different: as it prepares for battle, we can see the trenches that have been dug outside the walls, filled with spikes. By episode 4's credits, will Winterfell even be standing?
