Game Of Thrones Season 8: 6 Clues From The Finale's Trailer
4. The Unsullied And Dothraki Still Support Her
Because of course they do. Dany spent a long time "taming" her wilder army element (the Dothraki) and last episode gave them the opportunity to go full-blooded and revert back to their true nature. If you can't see the parallel there between Dany's arc and theirs, you've not been paying attention. This show is about fated nature - whether in genetics or expectations of a House/people - and about the inevitability of living out those destinies.
The obvious Dothraki glee at this new, blood-thirsty Dany says a lot about that narrative trend but also about the seed that were always there in Dany's journey. It was one born in fire and fury, with allies cut from the same cloth and the more Dany's other more-grounding influences were stripped away, the closer she came to the Dothraki ideal. So of course they'd react to her with such force.
And then there's the Unsullied, who also appear to be completely happy to support their leader. She freed them, after all and they will do whatever she and Grey Worm tell them to - and since he shares Dany's emotional wounds after the death of Missandei, he's hardly going to turn his back on her simply because she snapped.
