Game Of Thrones Season 8: 6 Clues From The Finale's Trailer
2. Arya Is Still Around
The imagery of Arya rising the white horse seemingly out of King's Landing last episode could have worked as her final farewell, since she established that she has no intention of returning to Winterfell, but it looks like she still has some business to complete before she departs.
Someone is going to have to deal with Dany for the good of the Seven Kingdoms and while Arya has already killed the Night King and it might make more sense for Jon's story to have to decide to kill Dany, he's got previous of not being able to do that kind of thing. He's too led by emotion and even if he doesn't struggle THIS time, the presence of Arya is clearly meant to lead us to think that she's there to do what he can't.
After all, she's not as emotional as Jon and she saw the true cost of Dany's massacre close up. Even if she doesn't strike the killing blow again, she's likely to have some say in the final reckoning. Maybe we'll get to see her killing her way through the Unsullied and Dothraki and taking on Grey Worm? Their fighting skills are about the best suited to a fight now.
