8. The Mountain

It's one of the great tragedies of Game Of Thrones that The Mountain's arc has mostly been limited to standing around like shiny, hulking furniture until Cersei needs something "fixed," but at least we finally got to see the Cleganebowl before the show shut up shop.

Up until this point, Gregor Clegane was a disdainful monster who had killed Oberyn Martell and Missandei (among others) and whose crimes before he was even a zombie qualified him for dark infamy. He was the one-dimensional but still very effective antithesis of what his younger brother Sandor had become and as such, he had the entire fanbase against him.

He actually mostly had the upper hand over The Hound for much of the fight, gouging his eyes out, but in a fitting moment, Sandor speared him through a wall and the pair fell to their deaths in the fire below. That's not the sort of injury you just walk off, even as a zombie.
